Reading and introduction of this cemetery was taken from Marjorie Kite’s reading done in the early 1960’s:

West of So Whitley to Collamer, then southwest on Co Rd 850W to where Co Rd 700S meets it. In the field on the west side of the road along the fence line. All that is left today is a small pile of bricks and about 8 to 10 stone bases. Only 2 tops could be found large enough to read.

The Church was built before the Civil War and was used as the “Christian Church”.  This was about 1880.  In 1910 the building was sold and was moved to Bracken where it was made into a cattle shed.  The last minister was Rev Johnn Houghton.  Later some of the graves were moved to the “Lower Union Cemetery.”  This was south several miles.  It is believed that several soldiers graves were moved there as well as others.”
